This knife is forged from one of our favorite steel combos, White #1 high carbon core with stainless steel cladding. You get the performance of a high carbon steel with the protection of stainless steel.

The handle
The full tang steel handle is polished and seamlessly paired with local highly-figured Sonoma County buckeye burl.

In the kitchen
This blade leans into the french-style chef knife style for a little more rocking and rolling that many people prefer. It push cuts effortlessly, and offers a thin pointed tip for detail work, and carves like a champ.

How we present it
Our knives are currently shipping with a walnut box we’ve built by hand from salvage firewood.
