Our table knives are designed to specs as requested by Chef Kyle Connaughton for protein-based courses presented to guests dining at Three Michelin Star restaurant SingleThread in Healdsburg, California.
Aligning with the values of the visionaries behind the SingleThread experience, we crafted each table knife handle from a decades-old, 1200 gallon wine foader that has been twice-reclaimed — its first life at Simi Winery and its second at Russian River Brewing Company, before we brought it to our shop (and now to you).
The blades
These knives are made with high performance nitro-v stainless steel. We love this choice for table knives because you get a useful combo of performance and corrosion resistance.
At the table
We craft our table knives to feel comfortable in hand to effortlessly elevate your dining experience. Single Thread presents Seral table knives alongside curated protein courses, and we also enjoy using them for plant-based cuisine since the sharpness of each blade slices just as easily through veggies, bread, and more.
How we present it
Our table knife sets are currently shipping in a presentation box made from the same wine foader as the knife handles, with a nesting top crafted from local walnut.
